Izzy and Andrew – a Married Sneak Peek!

Izzy and Andrew were married May 29th on beautiful Anna Maria Island, FL (a place very near and dear to my heart making this wedding that much more wonderful to shoot).  The water was blue, Izzy looked beautiful and the sun was shining all day long.  What a gorgeous day for a wedding.  To top it all off, I got to shoot with a good friend of mine Ashley Dowaliby Photography.  I couldn’t have asked for a better time.  Thank you Izzy and Andrew for letting me share in your day with you!  Hopefully these pictures will tide you over for a while! 

The B Family!

I think the only way to describe this family is to say – When my husband and I decide to start a family, I hope that our family is half as wonderful as this one.  Michelle and I became fast friends after meeting at work, and she was really excited to find out I was a photographer.  She studies photography too, and has some great pictures of these ADORABLE kids you will see hanging all over her desk.  Once I met the family, the amount of kindness and love they show each other is amazing and you can see how close they are.  I had so much fun and would love someday to have the opportunity to photograph this family again!

A quick sneak peek! Joey and Lauren – Getting Married!

I had a great time with Joey and Lauren today taking their engagement pictures!  They are set to marry this October and after the FUN we had today I cannot WAIT for this wedding!  Here is a quick sneak peek for the happy happy couple!

Rainy…But We Took Joey’s Pictures Anyway!

I love living in Ohio, but the weather, come March, DRIVES ME NUTS.  It never warms up fast enough for me, there’s always a late snow and if it’s not snowing, it’s gross cloudy and/or RAINY.  This past March has been no different.  Actually, today is the first day I’ve felt warm (ask my husband, despite growing up in Northern Ohio, I have an intolerance for cold).  Enough about my dislike for cold, rainy weather…let’s talk about Joey’s Senior Pictures.  Even though it was raining cats and dogs, these were pretty easy, he was a natural!  He was a little hesitant when I mentioned pictures in the rain…with an umbrella, but as a good sport, he humored me. 

 

Gettin a new look…

I’m really not doing well on this New Year’s Resolution to update my blog more…so I decided if I update the look, maybe I’ll update the blog!!  Haha, here’s to positive thinking.  I’m thinking I like the pink, it’s bold, but my husband said my blog didn’t have enough color…how about now honey??

Welcome to 2010…

Just saying those three words is SO exciting!  I love new beginnings.  You never know what they could possibly bring…

This new beginning is bringing COLD though…oh my it is so cold outside, I can hardly stand it.  My dear husband thinks it feels great outside however, leading me to believe that I’m losing the battle of moving to a warmer state.  So here we are in Ohio, the heart of it all, freezing our toes off!!  The snow is pretty, I will admit.  Quite honestly, I can deal with the cold so long as there is a beautiful blanket of snow…

Since I am such a chicken when it comes to cold (and would you ever believe I grew up even more north than here – and quite often did not wear a coat in the winter!) I think it’s making me a bit crazy!  I think we’ll play a fun game here for the month of January.  Of course, there will be prizes…

And just to remind you this cold will eventually go away and the wonderful warmth of spring will someday return…

Jon, Brooke and C!

I won’t lie, I have a special fondness in my heart for little C – he is after all my nephew!  He has the CUUUTEST little smile and he is such.a.ham.  Point a camera at him and he poses and smiles.  LOVE IT!

Emilie and Kevin – ENGAGED!

Kevin and Emilie are engaged and planning their wedding for beautiful Captiva Island next year!  We started the day in their backyard with their sweetheart of a pup, Osgood, and then moved to take pictures around the Ohio State University campus!  Thanks for a fun time you two!
